Tabuk Round Cancelled as Saudi Toyota Rally Championship Moves Forward with Three-Round Season Following cancellation of Tabuk Baja, the championship continues with three competitive rounds across Hail, Qassim, and Jeddah

The Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) has issued a revised calendar for the 2025 Saudi Toyota Rally Championship after confirming the cancellation of the Tabuk Toyota Baja. Initially scheduled as the second round of the season from 7 to 10 May, the event was removed due to environmental considerations. The decision followed extensive consultations with partners and relevant authorities. It was concluded that holding the round at its planned location was not feasible due to its proximity to a protected natural reserve, raising concerns over alignment with established environmental regulations. In light of this, the organising committee reaffirmed its firm commitment to upholding environmental standards and sustainability principles. The championship will continue under the updated schedule, overseen by SAMF and supported by official partner Jameel Motorsport. As a result of the revised calendar, the 2025 season will feature three competitive rounds. The opening round took place in Hail from 29 January to 1 February. The championship will resume in Qassim from 1 to 4 October and conclude in Jeddah with the final round from 3 to 6 December 2025.Since its launch in 2019, the Saudi Toyota Rally Championship has become one of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation’s flagship initiatives aimed at advancing motorsport in the Kingdom. The championship provides a high-level platform for both seasoned and aspiring drivers to showcase their skills in a safe, professionally managed environment aligned with international standards—helping to nurture the next generation of Saudi motorsport talent.
